CHALLENGES :
The roof of the plant was considered to be unsuitable by top players of solar industry. Also the project execution involved a strict deadline. The management was insistent that they did not want any form of penetration on the roof that could cause and form of leakage in the future.
SOLUTION :
GSE appointed an independent consultant for the roof inspection. The complete structural analysis was carried out and the roof was observed to have a few problems. Through improved roof analysis solutions were designed with minimum cost to optimize installation with lowest load bearing suitable for solar plant installation.
Adhesive based installation was planned to provide no penetration using all special care during installation which is a must for such plants. With our expertise in project management we were able to complete the plant installation within given time frame.
BENEFIT :
The client has achieved 30% savings in its electricity bill and benefit of optimum plant generation in record time and from day of injection of power. The plant post 9 months continues to retain a 99% uptime ratio.
