Challenges for Opex Model Solar
The roof of the plant did not have all the load bearing capacity that was needed. Due to a capex freeze by the corporate they were unable to invest in roof purlin and stability improvement. Also, with GSE strict safety policy and roof stability policy, extra purlin mounting was needed in the roof.

A comprehensive engineering process was done to analyze the feasibility. Structural experts were brought in to examine the structure purlin to purline and column to column. An innovative design was thought through and deployed to provide additional support to the roof for the solar plant.
